Thomas Yameogo

Mr. YAMEOGO Thomas is a socio-economics scientist at Burkina Faso’s National Institute for Social Studies / National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (INSS/CNRST). He is also a consultant at West African Science Service on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL). Mr. YAMEOGO graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management (FASEG) at the University Cheikh Anta DIOP in Senegal (PhD. in Economics). He held a Master in Rural and Environmental Economics and Master’s Degree in Agricultural, Natural, Resources and Environmental Economics from Ouaga II University, Burkina Faso.  His research interests include Agricultural, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, Climate change Economics, Behavioral Economics, and Applied quantitative methods. He has substantial experience in multidisciplinary research, especially in the field of agriculture and rural development. He has long experience in providing technical assistance to farmers.
