Grant Research and Writing Intern duties and responsibilities

As the Grant Research and Writing Intern, you will conduct research and vet potential corporate, foundation and individual funders for FarmSahel.

You will assist in the organization of the grant database, calendar, and draft grant proposals in compliance with the requirements of the funding source.

Submit draft proposals to the FarmSahel Executive Director for approval.

Create grant and funding deadlines calendar.

Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
Skills

Excellent research, writing and communications skills.

Proficiency in Google Drive & Google Sheets.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.
The intern will be working remotely, and the hours are flexible. We are looking for someone who can commit to 10 hours a week.
This internship offers a $150 monthly stipend, and training in grant writing. This is a 6-month internship and an excellent opportunity to apply your passion for international development while learning about non-profit grant writing.
