1- Donating Equipment & Supplies
FarmSahel will pick up your used farming equipment from your farm anywhere in the United States and donate them to farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa. We will upload pictures of our farmers using your equipment and each equipment will be listed with its origin, to show you that we are forever grateful.

Your money will be used to ship used equipment donated by American farmers. We will also use it to provide training and support to our rural farmers to help them transition to more sustainable farming.

3- Sponsor or mentor a farmer
You are a farmer: become a mentor
You can sponsor a farmer in Africa by simply becoming his mentor. As a mentor, you will share farming best practices with your mentee, donate used farming equipment that FarmSahel will ship to your mentee for free, have video calls with your mentee to see his farm and even share pictures and do more as you see fit.

You are not a farmer: become a sponsor
You can sponsor a farmer in African by sending him a small monthly donation to help him buy seeds, fertilizers and more. As a sponsor, you’ll receive news of progress and letters from your sponsored farmer, keeping you connected to the improvements your gift has made possible and forming a bond between you and your farmer. Watch them grow from traditional farming to more sustainable farming.

What items do you accept?
At the moment, we accept tractors only.
Are you compliant with USA regulations for a non-profit or charitable organization?
Yes. We are a 501(c)3 organization, so all your donations are tax deductible.
Are there any costs involved?
FarmSahel does not charge for receipt of equipment or supplies but any monetary donations are always gratefully received. If you want to donate your equipment please click here.
Will you pickup?
YES. For big equipment like Tractors, we will pickup from any location.
For small equipment like agricultural mowers, you have to be in New Jersey for us to pickup.
Tell us about your equipment by filling out our
online form. You will receive a phone call within 48 hours from our local driver. During that call our driver will arrange to pick up your equipment at a time that is convenient for you. You don’t even need to be home when your equipment is picked up but either way, our drivers are flexible with timing.
Can I find out who my donations benefit?
Yes, FarmSahel can provide details about the recipients of your equipment and supplies in targeted countries.
