Foundations and trusts are key partners in helping  Farmsahel reach – and better – the lives of, farmers in Africa

Why should you care?
  • Today, most of the world's extreme poor live in sub-Saharan Africa. FarmSahel reduces poverty by providing African farmers’ with the tools to grow their incomes in an environmentally sustainably way.

  • Your money will be used to repair and ship used equipment donated by American farmers. We will also use it to provide training and support to our rural farmers to help them transition to more sustainable farming.

  • FarmSahel helps farmers make the most of their land: we teach farmers how to use the equipment we give them and we also ensure they gain access to the high-quality seed and fertilizers they need.

  • We help animal farmers with grasslands for their animals and ensure they are up to date with the vaccines that will protect their animals. To stop deforestation, we encourage them to plant trees.
