Administrative Assistant Intern duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for communication within the organization

  • Monitoring constant contact database and sending out mass emails  

  • Assisting in renewing and keeping current FarmSahel’s legally required state and other

  • registrations.

  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, and sending reminders.

  • Assisting and working closely with the Executive Director on any day-to-day activities.

 

Skills:

  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, writing, managerial, and communications

  • skills​

  • Good time management skills

  • The volunteer will be working remotely, and the hours are flexible. We are looking for someone

 

who can commit to 10 hours a week, and this can be a long-term opportunity.
A qualified candidate would include, for example, a college student [is college necessary?]
looking to build a career as an administrative assistant, or a retired or currently employed administrative assistant willing to volunteer his/her time and energy.

The intern will be working remotely, and the hours are flexible. We are looking for someone who can commit to 10 hours a week. This internship offers a $100 monthly stipend. This is a 6-month internship and an excellent opportunity to apply your passion for international development while learning about non-profit management.
